Job Summary
OR RN 60 MILE RADIUS RULE8hr Days - weekend holiday and call required 13 weeksGraduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Current NYS RN license or eligible. Successful completion and passing grade on the final exam is mandatory and a condition of employment as an Operating room required ACLS one year medical/surgical experience preferred; preceptorship charge and leadership abilities preferred for experienced RN will possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principles ability to provide quality patient care and ability to assess patients needs e.g. clinical teaching mental and recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts to move patients in a safe manner. Must be able to function well in stressful situations and have good creative problem-solving leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and be required to assume duties as a charge interpersonal organizational and written and verbal communication skills in the use of typical clinical equipment instrumentation utilized in providing a safe and/or aseptic environment in and OR/ASU dysrhythmia interpretation skills. On call required (Response time of 30 minutes).
