About the job:
Advantra is partnering with a Series A AI-native CPG SaaS startup in New York to hire a CPG Deductions Specialist to support implementation product optimization and client success.
About the role:
You will help brands implement Confido troubleshoot issues translate user needs into product improvements and document processes related to deductions and cash application.
Responsibilities:
- Support accounting and deductions teams in onboarding and using Confido successfully.
- Help users troubleshoot challenges and provide ongoing support.
- Translate user pain points into actionable product improvements.
- Build and maintain documentation on retailer and distributor deduction processes.
- Document cash application and deductions management workflows.
- Partner with sales teams during calls to support customer success.
Core requirements:
- 3 years of CPG deductions experience at a brand with $20M in annual sales.
- Accounting degree or equivalent experience as a staff accountant.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Experience with cash application and deductions management workflows.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal teams.
- Experience documenting complex business processes.
- Proven track record of supporting client success initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Willingness to travel regularly as needed.
Nice to have:
- Experience with CPG SaaS platforms.
- Familiarity with retail finance and trade processes.
- Early-stage startup experience.
- Experience working directly with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of process automation in accounting workflows.
