Role:Sales Development Representative

About the job;
Advantra is partnering with a high-growth CPG SaaS startup in New York to hire a Sales Development Representative to generate leads and support early-stage sales growth.
About the role:
You will identify high-potential accounts conduct outbound outreach and support building the sales tech stack. Your work ensures the team engages the right prospects efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Build lists of relevant accounts that should be Confido customers.
- Send high-quality outbound messages to target accounts.
- Identify gaps in sales infrastructure and evaluate vendors to fill them.
- Track and measure outreach performance and adapt strategies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to optimize lead generation processes.
- Support CRM management and data hygiene.
- Provide feedback on messaging and buyer insights to the team.
- Learn about buyer needs to improve outreach effectiveness.
Core requirements:
- 1 year meeting and exceeding quota in an SDR/BDR role or 1 year in consulting investment banking or investing.
- Strong written communication skills with ability to create compelling content.
- Analytical mindset with ability to measure performance and adapt.
- Deep customer empathy and excitement to understand buyer problems.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales goals.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and outreach campaigns.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Experience with CRM or sales tools is preferred.
Nice to have:
- Experience in CPG or retail technology sales.
- Familiarity with SaaS sales workflows.
- Prior exposure to outbound lead generation strategies.
- Comfort presenting to executives or decision makers.
- Knowledge of analytics tools to track sales performance.
