About the job:
Advantra is partnering with a Series A CPG SaaS startup in New York to hire a Business Operations Manager to support customers and improve adoption of software solutions.
About the role:
You will provide strategic guidance to customers translate complex CPG business processes into product requirements and partner with product teams to optimize software features.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance to customers to ensure successful adoption and optimization of software solutions.
- Translate complex CPG business processes (S&OP forecasting AOP trade finance) into actionable product requirements and user stories.
- Partner with product teams to identify prioritize and define new software features based on client needs and market gaps.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at leading CPG companies.
- Act as a trusted advisor on business process optimization and technology solutions.
- Drive client success initiatives including implementation support training and ongoing consultation.
- Support cross-functional collaboration between operations product and engineering teams.
- Track and report on client adoption and usage metrics to inform product improvements.
- Communicate client insights to influence strategic and product decisions.
Core requirements:
- 5 years in Consumer Packaged Goods with expertise in Sales/Trade Finance Revenue Growth Management or Sales Analytics.
- Experience with core business planning processes including S&OP Forecasting and AOP.
- Strong understanding of trade promotion and trade finance.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Proven ability to translate complex business needs into product requirements and user stories.
- Strong background in demand forecasting and AOP development and execution.
- Proficiency with syndicated data sources such as Circana Nielsen SPINS.
- Experience with software solutions for CPG or related enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have:
- Trade promotion experience.
- Experience in high-growth startup environments.
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting systems.
- Knowledge of revenue growth management strategy.
- Exposure to software implementation and client success processes.
