About the job:
Advantra is partnering with a Series A AI SaaS startup in New York to hire a Senior Business Operations Manager to provide strategic guidance and optimize customer adoption of software solutions.
About the role:
You will support leading CPG customers by translating complex business processes into product requirements. You will help define new features and drive adoption to improve business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance to customers on Sales Trade Finance and Revenue Growth Management processes.
- Partner with product team to identify prioritize and define new software features.
- Translate S&OP Forecasting AOP and trade finance processes into clear product requirements and user stories.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at leading CPG companies.
- Drive client success initiatives including implementation support training and ongoing consultation.
- Monitor adoption and optimize workflows to maximize software ROI.
- Collect and synthesize client feedback to inform product improvements.
- Support quarterly planning and operational KPI tracking.
Core requirements:
- 7 years in Consumer Packaged Goods with expertise in Sales/Trade Finance Strategy Revenue Growth Management or Sales Analytics.
- Experience with core business planning processes including S&OP Forecasting and AOP.
- Strong understanding of trade promotions and trade finance processes.
- Knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Background in demand forecasting and AOP development and execution.
- Proficiency with syndicated data sources such as Circana Nielsen or SPINS.
- Ability to translate complex workflows into actionable product requirements.
- Strong communication skills with internal teams and clients.
- Competitive collaborative and solution-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to work full time onsite in New York City.
Nice to have:
- Experience implementing SaaS solutions in CPG environments.
- Exposure to automation or AI applied to sales trade or finance workflows.
- Experience leading cross-functional business initiatives.
- Familiarity with analytics tools for forecasting and planning.
- Background in client adoption and retention strategies.
