Job Summary
Job Summary (Bilingual Functional Tester - POS Systems On site Chicago Downtown):
- Serve as Test Lead within the Testing Center of Excellence focusing on POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers business analysts product owners project managers) to verify code and validate requirements.
- Design create and maintain detailed test scenarios and test cases including management of test data across multiple environments.
- Execute functional and integration tests document results and track progress using relevant tools (e.g. JIRA).
- Identify troubleshoot and document functional technical and integration defects.
- Communicate testing progress issues and risks clearly to team leads and stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile project delivery leveraging experience in the retail domain and functional testing.
- Utilize strong analytical interpersonal documentation and communication skills to support team goals and resolve issues.
- Required: Over 7 years of software testing experience including 2 years in POS testing.
- Required: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Required: Strong attention to detail and quality assurance focus.
- Preferred: Experience supporting diverse teams and managing complex testing scenarios.
