Summary:

• Apply an interdisciplinary collaborative approach to plan design develop and verify lifecycle-balanced systems for Communications Satellites Command and Control architectures platform development and network infrastructure.

• Evaluate customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements ensuring compatibility across all physical functional and program interfaces.

• Conduct technology trade studies identify evaluation criteria and perform cost and feasibility analyses.

• Perform system-level analyses to optimize mission performance affordability reliability maintainability testability systems integration survivability and system security.

• Develop and manage requirements management processes tools and risk/opportunity tracking.

• Resolve cross-functional technical issues to maintain project alignment and technical integrity.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a security clearance

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics or Chemistry.

• 9 years of related work experience OR 3 years with a Masters degree.

• Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles processes and tools.

• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

• Proven experience designing systems-of-systems communication architectures.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic satellite mission operations experience.

• Experience with requirements definition allocation and decomposition.

• Knowledge of DOORS and requirements management processes.

• Understanding of satellite telemetry command and control architectures and ground control software.

• Familiarity with satellite ground stations and network integration.
