Job Summary:
The X-Ray Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures with a daily caseload of 30-35 scans per shift. The role requires flexibility to work various shifts and rotating weekends while adhering to self-scheduling based on seniority.

Responsibilities:
- Perform X-ray imaging procedures.
- Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety measures.
- Assist in patient positioning and preparation for scans.
- Collect and record patient data and imaging results accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide quality patient care.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- Valid California state license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Epic charting system
Special Considerations:
- Must be open to working all shifts
- Weekend coverage required (EOW may exceed to meet facility needs)
- No call required
- Floating to meet unit needs may be required
Scheduling:
- 4x10 variable shifts (000)
- Self-scheduling based on seniority
- 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Shift preferences are accommodated but not guaranteed
