Job Summary

Senior Rust Developer (Hybrid Georgia)

Residency Requirement: Must be a Georgia resident or open to relocation

Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional software development experience

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Rust Developer to lead complex software projects guide technical decisions and mentor junior engineers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of systems programming concurrency patterns and performance optimization.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related technical field.

Required Skills & Experience:

10 years of professional software development experience.
Proven expertise with the Rust programming language and the Rust ecosystem (tools and popular crates).
Prior experience as a Lead Developer or in a similar senior engineering role.
Strong understanding of memory management concurrency and systems programming concepts.
Hands-on experience with asynchronous programming in Rust using Tokio async-std or similar frameworks.
Proficiency in performance profiling debugging and optimization of systems-level applications.
Ability to write clean maintainable and well-documented code.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with SaltStack or similar automation/configuration management platforms.
Familiarity with AWS GitHub and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Strong collaboration mentoring and communication skills.
