Job Summary

Regulator Repair Technician

Department: Facility Operations
Location: Waco Texas
Compensation: $22.00 $24.00 per hour
Workplace Type: Onsite
Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00 AM 2:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Repair transformers and other power distribution equipment with a focus on regulators
Tank and untank regulators
Conduct pre-tests on regulators
Perform regulator repairs including gasket replacement and cleaning bushings
Operate forklifts pallet jacks and overhead cranes to move units and materials
Maintain accurate written repair records
Keep a neat clean and organized work area
Perform detailed regulator work including cleaning and touch-up painting

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

The ideal candidate will:

Be honest dependable and hardworking
Have the physical ability to perform medium work (lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally 20 lbs frequently)
Be comfortable working in varying temperatures (heat and cold)
