We are searching for a Parts Clerk with forklift and shipping & receiving experience.
Role Overview: Manages warehouse stock parts locations and maintains housekeeping standards
Position Responsibilities:
- Lifts and moves heavy items/packages as required.
- Operates gas and electric forklift.
- Uses computer terminal to process transactions receive and send emails and research shipping and receiving errors.
- Prepares shipping export and other documentation as required.
- Maintains supplies and monitors warehouse stock to ensure availability.
- Performs parts inventory or special inventories on an as needed basis.
- Packages pallets of parts for outgoing shipments.
- Pulls packs and ships.
- Receives quality controls and warehouses incoming parts.
- Loads and unloads delivery trucks.
- Manages warehouse stock parts locations and maintains housekeeping standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Some shipping receiving or warehousing experience required
- Computer skills.
- Detailed oriented organized and punctual.
- Experience operating a forklift.
- Positive attitude interpersonal skills and presents a professional image.
- Strong desire to learn and apply learned knowledge.
- Strong listening reading and verbal skills.
- Self-motivated team player
Salary Range - $15.00 to $16.00 per hour
Location - Chalmette LA
