The Senior Project Manager will oversee the planning execution and completion of complex construction projects ensuring they are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong leader capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously coordinating crossfunctional teams and maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Lead and manage all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through to completion ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
Team Coordination: Collaborate with project teams including superintendents engineers and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution and resolve any issues promptly.
Budget & Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules monitor progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to stay on track.
Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients providing regular updates and addressing any concerns to ensure client satisfaction.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all work complies with contract specifications safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and costs.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management highlighting progress challenges and solutions.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree in Construction Management Civil Engineering or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
Skills: Strong leadership communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Other: Ability to work onsite in Middle Tennessee and travel to various project locations as needed.
