Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join a growing metal fabrication team in North Tulsa. The Industrial Painter will be responsible for preparing and coating metal parts using a variety of spray techniques ensuring consistent high-quality finishes that meet production and safety standards. This role is ideal for a dependable detail-oriented painter who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare metal surfaces for painting by sanding masking grinding or chemical preparation.
Mix thin and apply industrial coatings using conventional and airless spray guns.
Ensure coating thickness coverage and finish meet specifications.
Inspect parts for defects and perform touch-ups or rework as necessary.
Maintain and clean paint booth spray guns ventilation and storage areas.
Follow all company safety PPE and environmental guidelines.
Document completed work and communicate effectively with the production team to meet daily deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 1 year of experience as an Industrial Painter in a shop or manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with liquid paint enamel epoxy and urethane coatings.
Proficient with spray guns and coating application techniques.
Ability to read job travelers work instructions or production orders.
Strong attention to detail quality control and finish consistency.
Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
