Job Summary
Nestara & Co. is seeking a passionate self-driven Videographer and editor to help us bring our brand stories to life. From powerful human stories to elegant training recaps and behind-the-scenes footage youll help shape Nestaras visual identity one emotional frame at a time.
Youll work per project (34 shoots a month) and collaborate closely with our marketing team to create content that feels premium warm and deeply human.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize film and edit short-form and long-form videos for social media ads interviews and YouTube.
- Capture high-quality footage using our equipment (iPhone Nikon camera mics lights) and recommend improvements where needed.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to interpret brand stories and translate them into engaging visual pieces.
- Add captions transitions and music that align with Nestaras tone emotional authentic and elegant.
- Ensure timely delivery revisions and consistent quality across all projects.
- Stay current with social media trends and video storytelling formats.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate
- A story-driven creator who understands emotion and pacing.
- Skilled in shooting lighting sound and post-production.
- Experienced with editing tools (Premiere Pro CapCut Final Cut DaVinci - whichever delivers top quality).
- Has a portfolio or sample work that demonstrates creativity storytelling and clean execution.
- Reliable detail-oriented and comfortable taking directions while adding original flair.
- Nairobi-based and available for regular shoots (approx. 34 per month).
Bonus Points
- Experience in lifestyle brand or social impact storytelling.
- Familiarity with Nestaras audience or high-end lifestyle brands.
- Creative use of AI tools to enhance scenes edits and storytelling flavor.

Compensation
Project-based; competitive rate per shoot discussed based on experience and scope.
