The opportunity
Southside Racing is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to assume the role of Trackwork & Pool Supervisor at our Pakenham Racecourse and Training Facilities in Tynong. Reporting to the Training Services Manager the role of Trackwork & Pool Supervisor will be to contribute to the successful operation of our Racecourse Training Services.
The role of the Trackwork & Pool Supervisor is to work as part of the team to provide a high-quality range of services to trainers and their employees across all Thoroughbred training activities.
In your role as Trackwork Supervisor you will be required to monitor and provide oversight of trackwork activities including the overall setup of the horse stalls.
When working as the Pool Supervisor you will be required to supervise operate and maintain the equine pool. This includes the setup clean up and overall maintenance of the pool and its surrounding areas.
A key role of the Trackwork & Pool Supervisor is to ensure the safety of all training services to ensure the workplace remains compliant with Southside Racings Rules and Regulations WorkSafe guidelines and industry best practice.
