Job Summary
An automotive polisher restores and enhances vehicle finishes by buffing polishing and waxing surfaces to remove imperfections like scratches and swirls. A job description includeswashing decontaminating and preparing vehicles using specialized tools and products for a high-gloss finish and applying protective coatings. Key requirements are attention to detail knowledge of polishing techniques physical stamina and customer service skills.
Key responsibilities
- Inspect vehicle surfaces for damage and imperfections.
- Wash decontaminate and prepare vehicles for polishing.
- Select and use appropriate polishing compounds pads and tools to remove scratches swirl marks and oxidation.
- Apply protective coatings such as wax or sealants.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure a flawless finish.
- Maintain polishing equipment and order supplies as needed.
- Work with other team members such as detailers and painters to ensure vehicles are ready on time.

- Knowledge of different polishing techniques and products.

- Ability to operate cleaning equipment.
