Companion Caregiver needed – St. Augustine

We are seeking a caregiver to support a 32-year-old young woman in need of a companion who iscompassionate and outgoingwho will take her out to socialize and to community going out for treats especially Dunkin and enjoys visiting thrift stores the beach and local parks. She is very social and likes to stay busy so an energetic and flexible companion is essential.

This is an independent contract position and pays$15.25 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday from 2pm - 7pm (flexible hours). Weekend availability is a plus

Responsibilities and Duties you can expect in the role:

• Encouraging and supporting the individualduring homeactivities
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensuringindividualssafety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events community outings such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication choiceindependence and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide1 year of caregiving experience
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Have aValid Driverlicense
• Are 18 years of age or older
