Job Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join the team.

Tenure: 3 months temp to perm opportunity.

Days & Hours: Mon-Fri & 32hrs per week potentially more

Pay rate:$44.56 per hr (including casual loading) penalties

Duties:

Operating earthmoving equipment (i.e. Frontend Loader landfill compactor excavator & skid steer) up to and including 150 BHP (estimated 112kW Less than 20 Tonne)

Inform and assist drivers and/or members of the public of proper placement for dumping loads to ensure most effective spreading of waste or other materials

Excavate load dry waste (metal wood general rubbish and other materials to compact and/or cover waste in accordance with company/contractual requirements and applicable regulations

Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training instructions or operating procedures and company regulations

Assist with general housekeeping duties

Maintain a professional image and always deliver high quality customer service

Essential Experience:

Current Excavator or Loader ticket
Class C drivers licence
Experince working in the waste industry highly desireable

Pre-Employment Requirements: Cleanaway WH&S to be completed prior to commencement (certificate to be presented to site manager on arrival).
