SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Preferred
Experience: No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills: Must possess basic computer skills
Other Requirements: Must be able to communicate with residents and staff; Must be able to follow directions and to complete assigned tasks; Must be able to read write understand and speak the English language; Previous experience with Geriatrics preferred but not required; Must be able to work with elderly residents families and other health care staff members; Must be able to adhere to all terms and conditions set forth in the United Church Homes Employee Handbook and the UCH Cares Training Manual.

This position may require rare travel for conferences trainings and other company events. While performing the duties of this job the employee must be able to work in a facility with considerable exposure to disagreeable conditions including odors infection illness and physical contact with/from disruptive residents. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
