Shipping and Receiving team members are responsible for loading and unloading materials and process shipments for internal and external customer.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all incoming freight receive and unload incoming materials and compares information on packing slip to purchase order to verify the accuracy of shipment; may process return shipments from customers.
- Inspect all incoming RMA (return to manufacturer) cylinders and complete the inspection sheet.
- Prepare all cylinders for outgoing shipment and interpret the BOL that was created (bill of lading).
- Safely operates forklift or other machinery to load unload sort stage and transport product
- Responsible for keeping an adequate supply of shipping materials on hand at all times
Experience Knowledge and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in shipping/receiving or working with LTL carriers preferred
- Must be able to obtain Hazmat Certification and EPA 608 Certification within 6 months of being hired
- Fork Lift Certification License
- Material Handling equipment familiarity
- Able to use Microsoft word and excel or equivalent
- Familiar with the UPS/Fed Ex shipping portal
- Valid class A drivers license preferred
Physical Demand Requirements
- Must be able to drive a forklift safely
- Required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles and/or heavy equipment.
- Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
