As a part of the Ground and Zone Assets Deliverysection within Network Delivery Group you will undertake a variety of works associated with the construction and maintenance of Evoenergys Electrical Network.

This leadership role presents an opportunity to oversee site operations and contribute to the continued efficiency and success of the team.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of leading a future focused electricity network for the ACT.

Key responsibilities

  • Program and Project Delivery: Oversee the safe efficient and high-quality execution of the Program of Works for Zone assets ensuring projects are delivered on time within budget and with proper planning auditing and reporting.
  • Stakeholder and Team Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal teams external contractors and commercial customers; collaborate across functions to coordinate resources manage outages and optimize work delivery.
  • Leadership and Performance Management: Lead mentor and evaluate Site Leads and field teams; manage performance succession planning training and compliance with safety and operational procedures.
  • Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement: Drive improvements in work systems and delivery strategies address job cancellations and rework ensure compliance with tools and processes and contribute to meetings and decision-making forums
  • Other duties within the employees skill competence and training.

Our ideal candidate

  • You take active steps to ensure the safety of your colleagues and our community championing a safe inclusive and respectful environment.
  • Certificate III in Electrotechnology Craft Certificate or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience in zone and distribution substations construction and maintenance and electricity distribution.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and lead individuals and teams in technical areas
