At Capital Area Human Services (CHAS) we are dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. CAHS is passionately dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with exceptionalities through a tailored treatment program based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis. As a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst youll receive ongoing mentorship and hands-on training to make a meaningful impact on the families we serve. We believe in fostering a positive supportive work environment where our team members thrive and develop into future leaders in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Psychology or a related field.
  • Active BCBA Certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities specifically Autism Spectrum Disorders in homes and community settings.

Job Specification

  • The clinic provides applied behavior analysis services to children with autism ages 2-7 years old.

Job Duties and Other Information

  • Manages a caseload of clients and monitor their progress.
  • Provides direct 1:1 and group ABA therapy.
  • Provides parent/guardian/family training.
  • Writes Treatment plans and assessments.
  • Provide direct-line supervision of a team of specialist and contractors registered line technicians.
  • Provide initial and ongoing training to staff regarding how to implement behavioral programming with clients.
  • Complete medical records and other documentation in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Complete progress notes and sign at the time of service in compliance with charting and billing requirement.
  • Develops daily schedule for staff to follow.

Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Unclassified
Work Schedule: 10 hours per day Monday - Thursday
Location: Capital Area Human Services Districts Childrens ASCEND Clinic.
Salary: Salary is based on qualifications.
