Job Summary

He aha te tūranga - About the role: 

This is a 6-month fixed term opportunity for an experienced coordinator to join the Northern Fundraising team. As a key member of the North Island Fundraising team you will be responsible for building ongoing relationships with donors supporters businesses and Area Committees to support the donor journey and assisting with overall growth in regional donor engagement. 

Your key responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the team responding to enquiries from donors and the public and working with the wider fundraising team to support continuous improvement in donor programs processes and journey. 

As this role deals extensively with donors an incredible customer focus and exceptional communication skills are essential. Your great admin skills and amazing attention to detail will be complemented by your strong organisation and time management skills. A can do attitude and proven ability to think outside the square will help you succeed.

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Previous experience and success in administration
  • Relevant experience in a similar role would be advantageous
  • A Can do attitude focused on achieving results and doing what is required to achieve success. 
  • The ability to work in a high paced and changing environment. 
  • Demonstrable personal commitment to and promotion of St John Core Values
