This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of our Science Department and inspire students through engaging high-quality teaching and learning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teach Psychology at IBDP and A-Level ensuring high standards of learning and achievement.
Deliver lessons that inspire curiosity independence and critical thinking in students.
Plan prepare and assess lessons effectively catering to students of varying attainment levels.
Contribute to the development of the Psychology curriculum and departmental initiatives.
Support students for internal and external examinations ensuring excellent outcomes.
Collaborate closely with colleagues parents and the wider school community to support student progress and wellbeing.
Actively participate in school life including enrichment and extracurricular activities.
Promote the schools values and contribute to its outstanding reputation
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree in Psychology (or related field).
Proven experience teaching IBDP and/or A-Level Psychology with evidence of strong student outcomes.
A passion for inspiring young people to become curious independent learners.
Experience supporting students whose first language may not be English.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
A commitment to professional growth innovation and reflective practice.
A willingness to embrace new technologies including virtual reality and AI to enhance learning experiences.
A strong pastoral ethos and dedication to supporting the whole child.
Fluency in English.
This position is suitable for NQT/ECTs.
