About the Role

Were looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering Application Development team for a Fixed Term of 15 this role you will design build and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Python and Robot Framework to ensure the highest standards of software quality. You will be instrumental in implementing automation strategies improving QA processes and enabling seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines to deliver exceptional digital experiences for our customers.

What Youll Do

Design and architect Robot Framework test automation frameworks using Python libraries
Develop custom keywords and reusable test libraries for web API and mobile testing
Create data-driven and modular test suites with proper documentation and naming conventions
Implement performance and load testing using JMeter for APIs and backend systems
Build and maintain test automation frameworks from scratch ensuring scalability and maintainability
Develop automated test data management utilities and helper functions
Integrate automated testing suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins Git Maven) for continuous testing
Troubleshoot debug and analyze test failures ensuring detailed test reporting and metrics
Collaborate with QA leadership to develop automation strategy and QA process improvements
Stay current on emerging testing tools technologies and best practices

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree in an IT-related field
7 years of experience in automation testing
Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework Python and test automation architecture
Proficiency in web API and mobile test automation
Expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Git and Maven
Strong SQL knowledge and experience in database and service-layer testing

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing or influencing automation frameworks for enterprise-level testing
Familiarity with Appium for mobile test automation
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and offshore team collaboration
Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving skills

Current Location: Mississauga. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide Toronto in September 2026

The hiring base salary range for this position is $99200 - $136400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individuals knowledge skills experience equity with other team members and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
