Job Summary

Our service based in Port Kennedy is looking for a passionate and caring Educator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 15 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance!

Shift times will be Monday - Friday 3:30 06:30 PM (Stay and Play Program). with the opportunity to pick up morning shifts if you would like to.


About the role

Working in a team of Educators you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:

  • Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM sport cooking art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
  • Foster healthy relationships with children the school community and parents
  • Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite

Who are we looking for

We can teach you about the job and sector but a few basics you need to have:

  • Enjoy working with kids
  • Strong and clear communication
  • Team player with a desire to become a service leader
  • Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (well pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
  • Australian work rights
