Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our interprofessional Complex Transitional Care team and provide ICU consultative services. This role is ideal for a dynamic healthcare professional with strong clinical reasoning skills and a passion for discharge planning supporting patients in achieving optimal recovery and successful reintegration into the community.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with allied health and other members of the interprofessional team to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

- Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
- Member of the Canadian Occupational Therapy Association or Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists preferred
- Minimum 2 years of hospital experience
- ICU experience preferred
- Experience working with stroke and neurological patient populations
- Experience working with a variety of patient populations
- Cognitive/perceptual assessment and treatment skills
- AlphaFIM trained is preferred
- Demonstrate knowledge and experience in cognitive assessments and cognitive remediation/compensatory strategies
- Knowledge and experience in the use of outcome measures
- Must be flexible and demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with all team members
- Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills
- Excellent organizational abilities with proven time management skills
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
Additional Information :
Hours: Monday to Sunday Various rotating 7.5 hour shifts 0800 - 1600 (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $40.011 to $56.425 per hour
