Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 3x12s Every other weekend Holidays required No on-call
Hours per Week: 36
Travel Rate: $2380/week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Floatfor an exciting job in Edison NJ.
Responsibilities
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care in collaboration with physicians and the healthcare team.
Deliver therapeutic nursing interventions while continuously monitoring and documenting patient progress.
Provide high-quality evidence-based patient care in compliance with hospital standards and nursing best practices.
Support interdisciplinary care coordination and patient/family education.
Float as required to Telemetry and Step-Down units (4W or 5N) with a maximum of four Telemetry patients.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU/CCU experience including Neuro ICU.
At least 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing within an acute care or trauma hospital (Level 1 or Level 2 preferred).
Strong clinical judgment adaptability and critical thinking skills.
Ability and willingness to float between ICU Telemetry and Step-Down units as assigned.
Education
Required: Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licenses & Certifications
Active New Jersey RN License or Compact State License
Basic Life Support (BLS) AHA
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) AHA
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
4-Hour CEU in Stroke Education
