Job Summary
Registered Nurse-Intensive Care Unit Contract Role Job Details:
- Location: Concord NH 03301
- Duration: 13 week
- Shift: 12-hour nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Deliver skilled nursing care to patients with life-threatening conditions
- Monitor record and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions
- Operate and monitor life-support equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
- Perform emergency interventions such as CPR when necessary
- Educate patients and families about care plans and procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies and standards
- 2 3 years of recent ICU RN experience
- If closer to 2 years the candidate must be a strong self-starting RN with broad critical care experience.
- Must demonstrate the ability to work independently and quickly adapt to changing conditions.
- Active RN License for the state of New Hampshire or Compact RN License
- License verification required prior to start
- BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA or ARC
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA or ARC
- NH State License
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
- Cerner EMR Preferred but not required
