Job Summary
Join our compassionate team as a Care Assistant in Hexham United Kingdom! Were seeking dedicated individuals to provide essential support and companionship to our clients in their homes. As a Care Assistant youll play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those in need.
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing dressing and grooming
- Prepare nutritious meals and help with feeding when necessary
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients well-being
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans
- Document client progress and report any changes in condition
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide basic first aid when needed
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to health and safety regulations
Qualifications :
- Genuine passion for helping others with a friendly empathetic demeanour
- Valid drivers licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Basic first aid knowledge and understanding of health and safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and daily activities
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- Strong time management and organisational skills
Additional Information :
We offer a competitive rate of pay of 13.30 per hour.
Flexibility in work patterns.
As well as day time we work evenings and weekends.
Due to the areas of working a driving licence and car is required.
