We seek to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic Junior School Physical Education Teacher who will contribute positively to the learning wellbeing and overall development of our Junior School students

About the Role

As a key member of our Junior School you will deliver engaging and purposeful learning experiences for your students and demonstrate strong knowledge of both curriculum and pedagogy. You will plan and deliver lessons across core subjects and Physical Education catering to diverse learning needs and supporting student growth.

You will bring your passion for to the school and above all have a willingness to engage connect and care for our students.

This is a part-time (approximately 0.2 FTE) fixed-term position for Term 1 to Term 4 2026 covering a staff member on extended leave.

About You

You will be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and experience in teaching Junior School. You will demonstrate:

  • Experience and expertise in teaching Physical Education to primary-aged students

  • Care and connectedness with students

  • Current VIT registration

  • Strong ICT skills to support planning and assessment

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to the broader life of the School

  • An interest in and/or experience with Cultures of Thinking will be highly regarded
