Job Summary and Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients of all ages in accordance with individual needs physician orders Hospital policy and standards of nursing practice. He/she is responsible for directing and coordinating members of the care team focusing on the provision of individualized quality patient care consistent with organizational values.
Job Requirements
- Graduate of Accredited RN school of Nursing.
- Registered Nurse with current California license.
- Minimum 1 year current acute care registered nursing experience in PICU.
- Must complete at a minimum a two-day pediatric intensive care course including didactic plus clinical rotation BRN approved.
- Must complete a minimum of two days of specific pediatric education every two years which is BRN approved.
- BSN
- Current AHA BLS ACLS PALS required.
