Job details:
- Perform major portions of assigned water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure related projects.
- Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures.
- Work on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving design calculations preparation of technical memorandum preparation of contract documents such as specifications and drawings.
- Propose approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods
- developed in previous assignments.
- Perform work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule with little supervision.
- Perform all the tasks necessary to complete primary design elements for engineering works.
- Provide guidance to graduate engineers to complement disciplines subconsultants contractors and regulatory agencies.
Qualifications :
- Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or related field and 6 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a related occupation.
- Alternatively employer will accept Masters degree in Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
Position requires:
- Conventional water supply and treatment processes;
- Conventional wastewater collection and treatment processes;
- Setting up pipeline hydraulic models using third party software such PipeNet;
- Microsoft Office software (Word Excel and PowerPoint);
- Pump/lift station design;
- Pipeline route analysis; and
- Using national recognized engineering software such as BioWIN SUMO WaterGems StormCAD or others.
