Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Oncology (Contract)
Location: Neptune New Jersey
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM 3x12s Every other weekend required Pre-assigned holidays No on-call
Hours per Week: 36
Travel Rate:Up to $2521 per week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingTravel Registered Nurse (RN) Oncologyfor an exciting job in Neptune NJ.
Responsibilities
Assess plan and implement individualized care plans for oncology patients.
Administer chemotherapy and other complex treatments in compliance with ONS guidelines.
Collaborate with physicians pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Monitor and respond to adverse reactions complications and changes in patient condition.
Maintain accurate timely documentation aligned with professional and institutional standards.
Advocate for patient-centered care and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of acute adult oncology experience with a focus on leukemia and lymphoma in an inpatient setting.
Proficiency in oncology protocols chemotherapy administration and symptom management.
Ability to float to comparable oncology or medical units as required.
Education
Required: Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licenses & Certifications
Active New Jersey RN License or Compact State License
BLS (AHA) Required
Chemotherapy Certification ONS preferred
Telemetry Certification Preferred
