Job Summary

The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC) located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero) Argentina is accepting online applications for the positionFinancial Analyst.Successful candidates will join the team which is part of a successful multifunction service center with a workforce of more than 1800 employees delivering business services and solutions across the globe.

The Financial Analyst will support financial operations (FinOp) across ITOF teams. This role ensures accurate invoice processing financial forecasting procurement coordination and compliance with internal controls. The analyst will serve as the primary financial liaison between vendors procurement and Chevron Finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice Management & Validation

- Review invoices in SMART GEP against service order contracts and supporting documentation.
- Validate tax charges and coordinate approvals with Chevron Tax.
- Approve or reject invoices based on accuracy and completeness; re-review corrected submissions.
- Maintain invoice trackers and update actuals and forecasts in shared files.

Vendor & Stakeholder Communication

- Serve as the main point of contact for vendor invoicing issues and system challenges.
- Participate in weekly and monthly calls with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and align on billing projections.
- Educate vendors on recurring invoice rejections and SMART GEP usage.

Procurement & Contract Support

- Submit procurement tickets for new service orders and amendments.
- Track requisitions and coordinate approvals with buyers and Chevron approvers.
- Monitor and close expired service orders after confirming invoice completion.

Financial Forecasting & Reporting

- Review and finalize billing projections and forecast files with vendors.
- Validate credit invoice data (e.g. volume discounts gain share reports).
- Submit year-end accrual spreadsheets and communicate procurement deadlines.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work closely with Chevron Finance to obtain or update charge codes.
- Support amendment reviews and financial table validations during contract changes.
- Participate in program and commercial connect meetings to provide financial updates.
