Position Summary:We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Project Quality Manager to join our team in caring for our communitys most vulnerable children. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving the systems that support childrens healing and growth.
The Project Quality Manager position carries administrative and strategic responsibilities for the development implementation supervision and coordination of select Child Development Services (CDS) programs and oversees quality assurances. The role operates under the general direction of the Director of Child Development Services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Leadership and Supervision:
1. Provides ongoing supervision of the selected program through monthly face-to-face meetings and additional support as needed. Supervision includes reviewing performance goals and appraisals discussing professional development addressing staff relations and answering questions.
2. Ensure compliance with funding requirements contracts and reporting obligations.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders employees and contractors.
4. Provide supervision coaching and professional development to direct reports.
5. Assist with program-level planning communication and monthly review meetings.
6. Monitor department performance productivity and outcomes to meet organizational goals.
7. Model transparency integrity and collaboration in all decision-making and team interactions.
Human Resources:
1. Assist with recruitment selection and hiring recommendations for non-supervisory roles; support hiring for coordinators and specialists.
2. Oversee payroll approvals timecards and leave requests for direct reports.
3. Ensure appropriate department coverage during business hours.
4. Evaluate direct report staff per the appraisal schedule to include quarterly reviews.
5. Delegate tasks with clear expectations and timelines to build staff skills and leadership capacity.
6. Adheres to all ChildSavers policies and procedures.
Fiscal Responsibility:
1. Assist with developing the program budget under your supervision.
2. Monitor spending review monthly with direct reports and key staff and adjust as needed to meet budget goals.
3. Approve direct reports program expenditures ensuring they align with the approved budget.
4. Support preparation of monthly invoices as needed.
Program:
1. Oversee and supervise selected programs and special project service delivery within agency objectives policies and budgets.
2. Ensure the quality and compliance of program deliverables by monitoring outcomes conducting peer reviews and audits and recommending or implementing improvements as needed.
3. Collaborate with CDS leadership Program Analyst and Development team on grant data reports renewals and compliance.
4. Prepare reports and administer internal systems to ensure accuracy productivity and alignment with funder requirements.
5. Promote staff understanding of program tasks and trauma-informed service delivery while adapting to changing priorities.
6. Carry out additional administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):
An undergraduate degree (in child development social work or other human service fields) from an accredited institution along with at least five years of professional experience providing direct services to children and families or any equivalent combination of related training and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Excels at overseeing multiple initiatives concurrently while maintaining focus on department goals.

ChildSavers services occur primarily in office-like settings including an ADA-compliant outpatient clinic and public-school settings as well as occasional community visits. The following physical requirements are in place for all staff:
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
