About the role:

Juniper is seeking caring and reliable Permanent-Full-time Multiskilled Domestic to join our dedicated team at Juniper Numbala Nunga our warm and welcoming residential aged care home in Derby.

This hands on people focused role rotates between cleaning laundry and catering duties to help create a safe comfortable and homely environment for our residents. Working closely with our care and hospitality teams you will ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene assist with meal preparation and service and contribute to residents overall comfort dignity and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning: Keep residents rooms and common areas spotless vacuuming mopping dusting and sanitizing high touch surfaces.
• Laundry: Wash dry iron and return personal and facility laundry while following infection control procedures.
• Catering: Assist in preparing and serving meals setting tables and ensuring meals meet residents dietary needs.
• Teamwork: Work collaboratively with care and hospitality staff to ensure residents feel respected valued and at home.
• Safety: Follow workplace health safety and infection control guidelines at all times.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in cleaning catering & laundry services (aged care or healthcare preferred)
• Knowledge of hygiene standards food safety and infection control (desirable)
• Food Handling Certificate or willingness to obtain (preferred)
• Passionate about helping older people live with dignity and comfort
• Physically fit to meet the demands of the role
• Flexible to work across cleaning laundry and catering duties
• A great communicator who can build rapport with residents and colleagues

• Full-time position working 37.5 hours per week
• Attractive remuneration $35.42 per hour plus 12% superannuation plus salary packaging up to $18550 per annum tax free
