Responsibilities:

Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients physical cognitive and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans.
Therapeutic Interventions: Provide hands-on therapy to improve patients daily living skills mobility and independence. Implement therapeutic interventions including therapeutic exercises adaptive equipment training and environmental modifications.
Patient Education: Educate patients and families on strategies for managing and adapting to their conditions maximizing their independence and quality of life.
Documentation: Document patient progress treatment plans and outcomes accurately and timely.
Collaboration: Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy practice.

Requirements:

Licensure: Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida.
Experience: Minimum of 6 months experience in a hospital skilled nursing facility or rehab.
Skills: Strong communication interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
Professionalism: Strong work ethic reliability and a commitment to providing quality care.
Transportation: Reliable transportation to visit patients in their homes.
