The Reeves and Schiffer Groups at Fred Hutch are seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Fellowto work on within host mathematical and evolutionary modeling to understand HIV persistence and cure.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PhD degree from a quantitative field such as physics applied mathematics biomedical engineering population genetics ecology computational biology etc.
  • Strong numerical programming skills in Python Matlab and/or R.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with C coding differential equation-based models and/or Bayesian phylogenetics.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $77976 to $95014 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.

This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship at this time.
