Job Summary
The per diem MRI Technician operates Computed Tomography (CT) scanner or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment to capture images to aid in patient diagnoses. Performs basic to highly complex MRI scans according to established protocols.
Responsibilities
1. Performs CT/MRI exams utilizing established protocols.
images onto PACS Systems and transfer images to physician work stations.
3. Evaluates images prior to the release of patient to ensure quality.

5. Ensures the safety and comfort of the patient family members and other employees.
6. Provided patient education relevant to specific imaging procedures.
cleanliness and orderliness of the work area and equipment to comply with established infection control and department standards.

9. Display personal attributes of compassion competence and concern in meeting the needs of the patient.

Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Radiology Program
- All CT/MRI technologists are required to be DOH certified to inject iv contrast.
- Certified to inject technologists must be able to complete injection tasks as to protocol.
- 0-2 years experience as a CT/MRI technician
