QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN
General Summary:JBS Pork islooking for aQuality Control Technician in Louisville Kentucky. This role will support the companys constant effort to ensure all food safety requirements and quality standardsare met. The ideal candidate will be very detail oriented adaptable and thorough.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate quality levels of products areas and people
- Required to know both harvest and cold side departments
- Follow all food safety requirements and ensure guidelines are being followed
- Ensure all company safety guidelines are being followed
- Work closely with management to achieve production objectives
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (both written andverbally)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a food processing facility
- Ability to work in extremely hot andcold conditions
- Ability to work on a tablet
- Basic computer skills required
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
