Job Title: Financial Controller

Description:

We are hiring for our client a highly successful and fast-growing company who are seeking to appoint a Financial Controller in a newly created position. This is a pivotal opportunity for an experienced finance professional to step into a strategic hands-on role managing a small finance team and contributing to key commercial decisions.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for leading all financial operations delivering insightful analysis and playing a key role in driving business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams implementing process improvements and working closely with non-finance stakeholders.

The Role:
Lead and oversee all aspects of financial operations including month-end close reporting and compliance
Manage and develop a team of 3 finance staff
Business partner with senior stakeholders across departments to support strategic initiatives
Deliver meaningful financial insights and performance reporting to support decision-making
Support budgeting forecasting and cash flow management processes
Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and financial control
Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements

The Person:
Qualified accountant (ACA ACCA CIMA or equivalent)
Proven experience in a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role
Strong people management skills and ability to lead a small finance team
Commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced and growing business environment
