Job Summary

Majestic Steel is seeking an experienced Account Director to drive growth through strategic partnerships with corporate and national-level accounts within the steel industry. Using a consultative sales approach youll build and nurture profitable long-term relationships with both existing clients and new prospects. This full-time remote outside sales role provides autonomy to manage your territory and deliver impactful results.

  • Impact: This role will be pivotal in attracting business to our new greenfield facility in Arkansas expanding our brand presence in the contractual business space and directly driving bottom-line growth.

What Youll Do:

  • Partner with corporate and national accounts through on-site and virtual consultations to identify needs and deliver strategic product solutions that drive results.
  • Build and strengthen industry relationships while actively prospecting and developing new business opportunities to expand market presence.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by implementing revenue-growth strategies and conducting ongoing account analysis to maximize profitability.
  • Lead complex proposal development and RFP/RFQ responses effectively presenting the companys products and value-added services to key decision-makers.
  • Maintain comprehensive account documentation in CRM systems while cultivating long-term customer relationships through proactive communication and consistent follow-up.
  • Manage contract execution and administration ensuring all agreements are fulfilled according to specifications while adhering to established pricing and sales procedures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to optimize sales efforts coordinate customer service and support site-level performance across assigned accounts.
  • Represent the company at sales meetings trade shows customer visits and industry events while maintaining current knowledge of market trends and steel industry developments.
  • Other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Who Were Looking For:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree or above in Marketing Business Administration Finance or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Eight (8) years of experience in consultative sales with an emphasis on value-based customer relationships in steel metal or related industry.

Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office products and Windows-based applications

Skills:

  • A proven track record of exceeding ambitious sales goals and driving growth in competitive markets.
  • Expertise in building strategic high-value relationships with C-suite and enterprise decision-makers.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with success securing complex multi-year contracts and overcoming objections to win new business.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities that influence outcomes build trust and move deals forward.
  • A self-motivated results-driven mindset confident working autonomously resilient under pressure and relentless in pursuing opportunities that deliver measurable success.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Ten (10) years of experience in flat rolled coated steel or related metal industry sales with an emphasis on value-based customer relationships.

Additional

  • Must be able to work outside normal business hours/days as needed.
  • Must be able to travel occasionally and work at an outside location overnight travel up to 50%
