Job Vacancy: Facilities Technician at Fluke Europe B.V.
Location:Fluke Europe B.V. at Brainport Industries Campus Eindhoven
Position Overview:We are looking for a skilled Facilities Technician to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of our facility. This role is crucial in managing the day-to-day upkeep of the building and its systems handling repairs and coordinating with external suppliers for larger projects. You will manage and work closely with the front-office team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of the building including HVAC systems electrical systems plumbing and other facilities.
- Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers for larger maintenance repair and construction projects ensuring quality and timely completion.
- Monitor and manage facility-related budgets ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities equipment status and contractor engagements.
- Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies minimizing downtime and disruption.
- Support in the setup and dismantling of equipment for events and meetings at the Experience Center and other areas.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar technical role.
- Strong technical skills in electrical plumbing HVAC and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals diagrams and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for interaction with team members and external partners.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management software is a plus.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is advantageous.
Required Certifications:
- Electrical Safety Certification(e.g. NEN 3140 or equivalent for the Netherlands)
- VCA (Veiligheid Gezondheid en Milieu Checklist Aannemers) for contractors and technicians working in industrial environments
