Job Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable construction client based in Northern Ireland known for delivering high-quality building and restoration projects. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled bricklayers and stonemasons who are seeking to join a professional team and contribute to a range of residential commercial and heritage works. Candidates applying from outside the UK must meet UKVI IELTS requirements as part of the visa process.

Responsibilities:

Laying bricks blocks and stone to construct or repair walls foundations and other structures.
Shaping dressing and setting stone in construction and restoration projects.
Measuring and cutting materials to fit specific design requirements.
Mixing mortar and ensuring its proper consistency for application.
Interpreting blueprints plans and specifications to meet project standards.
Collaborating with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion.
Adhering to health and safety regulations on-site.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bricklayer Stonemason or similar role.
Strong knowledge of construction techniques materials and tools.
Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Certification or relevant qualifications in bricklaying stonemasonry or construction.
UKVI IELTS (General or Academic) is a mandatory requirement for candidates applying from outside the UK.
