Job Summary
Are you a dedicated Reception Teacher seeking a Part-Time role from January 2026 A friendly Merton primary is recruiting a Reception Teacher to join its EYFS team on a Part-Time basis. The Reception Teacher will attend planning sessions before January 2026 participate in induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as the Reception Teacher.

The Reception Teacher role
This Reception Teacher will design play-based continuous provision deliver focused phonics teaching and lead daily language and early mathematics routines. The Reception Teacher will use careful observation to assess childrens progress and will plan next steps. The Reception Teacher will join the phase team for moderation and will help lead transition to Year 1 activities to be prepared for before January 2026 and carried out from January 2026.
