Job Summary
David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading tech company who is looking to recruit a Handyman to join their team in Bogota Colombia.
- Position: Handyman (Maintenance Specialist)
- Location: Bogota Colombia
- Employment type: Full-time
- Work model: on-site
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform general maintenance tasks including painting patching cleaning and basic facility repairs.
- Conduct minor repairs on company machinery equipment and appliances as needed.
- Identify and report major maintenance issues requiring specialized attention.
- Inspect facilities and common areas regularly to detect mechanical problems safety hazards or cleanliness issues.
- Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and service calls.
- Carry out basic plumbing electrical and general repair work in accordance with safety standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Fluent in Spanish (both written and spoken communication).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance facilities or technical support role.
- Valid drivers license.
- Proven experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using hand tools power tools and maintenance equipment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently or within a team.
- Availability for rotational 12-hour day and night shifts.
- Knowledge of HVAC/Air Con system maintenance is an asset.
- Height work certification is a plus.
