About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Childrens Home Manager to lead a 3-bed home supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and/or Learning Disabilities (LD).
As the Registered Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care compliance and safeguarding while fostering a nurturing and trauma-informed environment where young people can thrive.
Location: Croydon
Salary: 50000
Tasks
Promote a culture of safeguarding trauma-informed care and continuous improvement.
Manage staffing rotas performance and training compliance.
Oversee financial performance budgets and resource planning.
Ensure compliance with the Childrens Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted (SCCIF) standards.
Lead by example to maintain a stable safe and supportive home environment
Requirements
Qualifications
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Experience
- Prior experience as an Assistant Manager in a large service or Registered Manager in a dual/multi-home setting.
- Proven background working with children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations and quality frameworks (Childrens Homes Regs 2015 SCCIF).
- Experience in budget management and resource allocation.
- Resilient and able to work effectively in emotionally demanding environments.
Compliance
- Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS Certificate.
- Must provide a copy of your passport.
- If you do not hold a British passport you must provide a valid Share Code and proof of Right to Work in the UK.
