3:00 PM 11:00 PM
11:00 PM 7:00 AM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) to join our healthcare team on a PRN this role you will provide high-quality hands-on care to elderly residents ensuring their comfort safety and well-being in accordance with the care plan developed by the nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding.
Take and record vital signs such as temperature pulse respiration and blood pressure.
Observe and report changes in residents physical and mental health.
Help with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and techniques.
Maintain a clean safe and organized environment for residents.
Support the nursing staff with resident care and documentation.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
Ensure dignity and respect for all residents in care practices.

Required Qualifications:

Valid Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification.
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
