Pay Rate: $12 - $16/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)

Shifts Available: 8-hr Shifts

3:00 PM 11:00 PM
11:00 PM 7:00 AM

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNAs) to join our team on a PRN (as-needed) basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for caring for the elderly and providing high-quality care in a supportive environment. As a GNA you will assist residents with activities of daily living and help maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care assistance including bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding
Assist residents with mobility positioning and transferring
Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure temperature and pulse
Observe and report changes in residents physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
Assist with meals and ensure residents receive proper nutrition and hydration
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Follow care plans and facility policies and procedures
Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
Work collaboratively with nurses fellow GNAs and other healthcare staff

Required Qualifications:

Valid Maryland Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification.
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living facility is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Flexibility to work various shifts as needed.
